The 2012 ECNL National Championships will be held in the Chicago-land area from June 24–30, 2012. The main complex will be the Waukegan Sports Complex.
Under-14 and Under-15 Age Groups
Participants & Structure: All ECNL teams in the U-14 and U-15 age groups participate in the ECNL National Championship event. The National Championship Group will consist of the top 16 teams in the A-Flight National Standings at U15, and the top two teams in each conference at U14, and the National Championship Group will play 4 games over 4 days. All other teams will play 3 games over 3 days. In summary:
- U14 & U15 First Game: Sunday, June 24, 2012.
- U14 & U15 Second Game: Monday, June 25, 2012.
- U14 & U15 Third Game: Tuesday, June 26, 2012.
- U14 & U15 Championship Group Games Only: Wednesday, June 27, 2012. (Please note only the teams in the Championship Group will have games on this date.)
Under-16, Under-17, and Under-18 Age Groups
Participants & Structure: All ECNL Teams in the U16 and U17 age groups participate in this event, and the top 16 teams in each flight of the U18 age group participate in this event. The National Championship Groups (the top 16 teams in the A-Flight National Standings at U16 and U17, and the top 16 teams in both flights at U18) will play 4 games over 4 days. All other teams will play 3 games over 3 days. The U16 and U17 National Championship Group and all U18 competitions begin Wednesday, June 27 and commence Saturday, June 30. All other games begin Thursday, June 28 and commence Saturday, June 30. In summary, the dates are as follows:
- U16 and U17 Championship Group and U18 Games Only: Wednesday, June 27, 2012.
- First Group Game: Thursday, June 28, 2012.
- Second Group Game: Friday, June 29, 2012.
- Third Group Game & Championship Group Final Games: Saturday, June 30, 2012.
Arrival and Departure Information: Games will begin at 8:00 AM on day one of competition in every age group. Games on the third date of competition in every age group will be scheduled with kick-offs as late as 6:00 PM. Championship Group Games and U18 games played on the final (fourth day) of competition, will be completed by 4:00 PM.
